In August Scott and I were able to attend 2 of our close friend's weddings. And since they did not marry each other we had 2 out of town trips without the kids. I was very nervous leaving them but felt safe that they were with grandma. Once on the trips we had a great time and had some much needed time just as a couple. The first trip was to Temecula, Ca for Daylon and Nikki's wedding, we also spent one night at the beach in La Jolla, it was wonderful.

Next we went to Iowa City for our friend Kerry's wedding to Nick. We were able to go with our good friends Liz, Cody, Aaron and Mistelle. All 6 of us together without kids. It did get a little crazy, we had a blast!
