6 weeks old

Time has been flying by, Allie is already 6 weeks old! We have been having lots of fun at home, Henry is becoming such a great big brother. The other day I was sitting on the couch with Allie on my shoulder patting her back after a feeding and kissing her little head, Henry came up on the couch and sat next to us, he started patting Allie's back with me and kissing her head, "what are we doing mommy" he asked, I laughed and told him, "we are helping Allie burp". "Oh, burp Allie, burp" he said, followed by another kiss on the head, it was so cute! We have been venturing out of the house more, our first family dinner out was at Henry's favorite restaurant, California Pizza Kitchen. Allie has been sleeping pretty well at night, which has been a relief to Scott and I. She can be quite a spitfire when she is not happy, turning beet red, crying at the top of her lungs with big crocodile tears! She may be a very spirited toddler :). However she has started being equally demonstrative when happy with huge smiles that cover her whole face so she can't even keep her eyes open which makes me about stand on my head to make her happy. Oh the things we will do for our kids :). You might notice the shiner that Henry has on his right eye in the photo, he ran into a kid a school and got a black eye, the same week he got his first hole in his jeans, he is becoming such a boy! Where does the time go?
